Acquisition of Inpute Technologies

Barrow Active completed the acquisition of Inpute Technologies Limited in April 2021 following a focussed due diligence exercise. Inpute was founded in 2000 and is a specialist provider of intelligent automation software and services for transforming business processes.

Inpute’s team based in Dublin and Wroclaw has designed and implemented complex software solutions for many of Ireland’s semi-states and government departments as well as Irish private businesses and global corporates. Inpute helps customers to improve their organisational efficiency, reduce operational costs and ensure compliance through automation.

Barrow Active was able to provide a full cash exit for the retiring majority shareholder while senior management retained equity participation. Morgan McElligott joined the business as Executive Director to work alongside Inpute’s experienced management team and a new advisory board was appointed. Inpute is now looking to accelerate its growth plans through both organic growth initiatives and acquisition.
